  1. As we finish the book of Ezekiel, his vision continues with the description of a new Israel in great detail, discussing the massive square for worshipping the Lord. They expect a huge number of people to attend the festivals, so we read about crowd control measures in Ezekiel 46:9-10, “whoever enters by the north gate to worship is to go out the south gate; and whoever enters by the south gate is to go out the north gate.”

The last words in Ezekiel are worthy of special attention:

    The Lord Is There.Ezekiel 48:35

Twelve tribes and 12 gates, the restoration of the Promised Land is complete and orderly with provisions for all, all would be accommodated. This vision came about in the 25th year of an exile that was prophesied to last for 70 years. The elders hearing these words would not live to see the day, indeed, it is a vision that looks way into the future to provide hope. Hope and faith, intangible and invaluable gifts that we have in the Lord, in Jesus Christ, fueled by the Holy Spirit. It’s our advantage and for the benefit of the kingdom that we grab onto this hope and spread the love of Christ to all. The Lord is with us, we must not keep this to ourselves!
